| What is SHED ? Safe Homes for the Elderly and Disabled (SHED) is a cooperative venture of several churches in the central area of Greater St. Louis, Missouri. SHED's Mission SHED's mission is to help elderly and disabled persons to live safely, comfortably and independently by providing home maintenance services. Member Churches Charter members of SHED, which form our Founding Council, are: Baptist Church of the Holy Communion First Presbyterian Church Mt.
